Raytown Three Trails Kiwanis
The Raytown Three Trails Kiwanis Club is part of a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time.
Raytown Three Trails Kiwanis is a positive influence in the Raytown and surrounding communities for many reasons. From offering deserving scholarships for vocational and post high school education and leadership programs to helping children in need with beds, food and clothing to working with local charity and governmental groups to assisting in child and foster care, Raytown Three Trails Kiwanis Kiwanis’s mission is to help the children in the area that are in need.
Through fund raising activities such as the Festival of the Lost Township, Raytown Three Trails Kiwanis was able to provide over $20,000 this past year alone for these deserving programs.
Festival of the Lost Township is the second largest annual event held in Raytown second only to another Raytown Three Trails Kiwanis event, Pumpkins on Parade. Pumpkins on Parade is an annual service project for Cave Spring Park located in Raytown. This family friendly event is held the third Saturday of October. There are over 1,000 carved pumpkins created by local school groups, Girl and Boy Scouts clubs, church groups and other organizations placed along the Cave Spring trails. This free event attracts over 3,000 people each year.
These and other activities are what Raytown Three Trails Kiwanis is all about. If you would like to learn more about Kiwanis, please email Larry Schulze.
By working together, Kiwanis members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone!
